Sylvia grew up in the Chicago suburbs.  She graduated with honors from Bethel College and continued her education graduating with high honors from the University of Saint Francis with a master’s in nursing.

Sylvia worked in the ER for 15 years- 10 of which as a nurse practitioner.  Then proceeded to private practice for the past two years with special interests in pediatrics, holistic healthcare, and urgent care.

Sylvia enjoys reading, hiking, animal rescue, and homeschooling her four children.
